Moderation and Intercultural Communication Workshop at the BA

Alexandria—The International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA) Center for Arabic Speaking Libraries (IFLA-CASL) organizes a workshop entitled “Moderation and Intercultural Communication”, in cooperation with Deutsche Welle and the Goethe Institute, Alexandria, from 10 to 21 January 2010.
The workshop targets the media, young civil activist and librarians, and it is based on interaction between participants and trainers.
It aims to provide the participants with the necessary techniques to present and moderate a range of public events. It will also give the participants an extensive grounding in the pitfalls of cross-cultural communication. The workshop concludes with an open-to-public conference that addresses issues suggested by the participants.
