Arts Center Offers Production Grants for Theatrical Performances

Alexandria—The BA Arts Center opens call for application for the “theatrical performances production grants” program amounting to 10,000 L.E.
This initiative encourages young theatre directors to hold their performances, promotes freedom of expression, and fosters values of dialogue and openness, in addition to enriching the theatrical movement.
Applicants should be under 35 years old. They should submit a proposal (average 3 pages) including the text outline, writer’s approval, list of the crew, action plan and its schedule within 6 weeks.
Participants will be offered a place for rehearsals according to a fixed schedule. The performance will be presented at the BACC Small Theater for 3 successive nights.
Interested candidates should hand in the application forms, proposals and all attachments to the Arts Center Secretariat. Deadline for receiving material is 30 April 2010.
