Screenings of Films by Arab Women Directors

Alexandria—On the occasion of the International Woman’s Day, the BA Arts Center holds film screenings of 4 films by 4 Arab women directors from 8 to 11 March 2010.
Screenings start on Monday, 8 March 2010 by Dunia, directed by Jocelyne Sab, Lebanon (2005). The second day features Sukkar Banat (Caramel), directed by Nadine Labaki, Lebanon (2007). On Wednesday, 10 March 2010 Mall Watani (What's Wrong With My Country), directed by Fatima Belhadj, Algeria (2007) is screened. The last day of the screenings features Milh Haza El-Bahr (Salt of this Sea) ,directed by Annemarie Jacir, Palestine (2008).
All film screenings start at 7:00 pm at the BA Auditorium, and are open for public for free.
