Zewail in the Opening of the Science Age Society at the BA

Dr. Ahmed Zewail, Nobel Laureate in Chemistry in 1999, and Honorary President of the Science Age Society, gives a lecture entitled “The Age of Science and the Future”, on Wednesday, 7 July 2010.
Co-organized by the BA Arab Association for Reform and Development, the lecture is held on the occasion of the Opening Ceremony of the Science Age Association (SAS), chaired by Dr. Essam Sharaf, Head of SAS Board, Professor of Highway Engineering, Cairo University, and Former Minister of Transportation.
The Science Age Society is a non-governmental organization that aims at fostering education, scientific research and technology. It works on connecting Egyptian scientists inside Egypt and abroad. It also seeks to encourage outstanding young scientists, and provide them with the tools needed for their research.
The Ceremony is held at 7:00 pm at the BACC Great Hall, and is open for public.
