Observation of the Partial Solar Eclipse

The Planetarium Science Center (PSC) organizes a public session to observe the partial solar eclipse from the BA Plaza on Tuesday, 4 January 2011.
Participants will have the opportunity to view the phenomenon through special optical instruments with the help of specialized astronomers.
Following the observation, PSC Astronomer Ayman Ibrahim, gives a lecture targeting school students and titled “Eclipses of the Sun and the Moon”. The lecture presents intriguing facts on eclipses and the nature and characteristics of the Sun and the Moon.
