Children’s and Young People’s Summer Programs at the BA
Posted on
As part of its active role within the community, the BA creates special outreach programs that serve the needs of public, especially children, young people, and people with special needs inside and outside Alexandria.
Primarily interested in developing their young users’ skills and enriching their knowledge, the Children’s and Young people’s Libraries, along with the Arts Center Child and Adolescent Creative Unit and the Planetarium Science Center (PSC), hold stimulating summer activities. The summer programs cover wide range of activities including arts and crafts, puppet-shows, book-talks, competitions, computer and research classes, theatrical performances, and fun with science activities. The BA also provides experimental/hands-on training, Arabic calligraphy and Hieroglyphics courses, and artistic workshops that complement school syllabi.
