The Third Arab Environmental Youth Convention

The BA holds the third Arab Environmental Youth Convention on 19 and 20 February 2012, offering a platform for youth to present their environmental projects in the fields of food and agriculture, energy, water, climate change, sustainable development, and desertification.
The Convention hosts Dr. Hany El-Nokrashy from DESERTEC Foundation, who will speak on the future of solar energy in Egypt, and Dr. Khaled Ouda, Professor of Geology in the Faculty of Science, Assiut University, who will discuss the risks of climate change on the Egyptian coasts and measures to be taken in this regard.
It is worth mentioning that the BA hosts the Youth and Environment Program: “Youth for Environmental Sustainability and Better Understanding” (YESBU) and “League of Young Masters” (LYM) which offers distant learning program on Preventive Environmental Management on its webpage.
