Memorandum of Understanding with the National Library of Turkey

Dr. Ismail Serageldin; Director of the Library of Alexandria, and Tuncel Acar; Director of the National Library of Turkey (NLT) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the BA and NLT.
The two institutions have agreed to cooperate with each other in areas of mutual interest, such as support of research, training programs and scientific exchanges.
Following the signing of the MoU, Serageldin visited the Turkish Parliament and later met with Süleyman Demirel, Former President of Turkey.
