Mrs. Mubarak Attends the BA’s Second Anniversary

Her Excellency, Mrs. Suzanne Mubarak, Director of the Board of Trustees of the Library of Alexandria, will be honoring the celebration of the 2nd anniversary of the inauguration of the library on the 10th of October.
During her visit to the library, her Excellency will visit the different exhibitions that are currently held at the library, including the "Alexandrie: Mémoire des Temps", by Egyptian artist Jihan Soliman, Professor of Photography at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Alexandria University and Belgian artist, Jocelyne Mottoulle, as well as "Treasures of Arab – Byzantine Navigation,” and “Anna Pavlova, the Ballet Legend.”
Mrs. Mubarak, accompanied by Dr. Ismail Serageldin, Director of the Library of Alexandria, will meet with a number of European and Arab ambassadors and representatives from the European Union. Her Excellency will also attend a musical presentation by children at the library’s Arts Center.
Mrs. Mubarak will be accompanied by a number of Egyptian dignitaries and intellectuals, including Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ahmed Abul Gheit, Minister of Culture, Farouk Hosny, Minister of Higher Education, Amr Ezzat, Governor of Alexandria, Abdel Salam El Mahgoub, as well as, Dr. Mohamed Abdellah, President of the Alexandria University and Dr. Farouk El Baz, Dr. Layla Takla and Dr. Ahmed Zoweil, Nobel Prize Laureate in 1999.
