“Youth and Democracy in Egypt” Workshop

The BA Unit of Futuristic Studies organizes a 3-day workshop entitled “Youth and Democracy in Egypt” from 23 to 25 June 2013.
The workshop is held under the supervision of Dr. Linda Herrera, Associate Professor in the Department of Educational Policy, Organization and Leadership at the University of Illinois, and with participation a delegation of Illinois University students and Alexandrian youth.
Themes discussed range between the Arab uprisings, the role of women and the significance of religion in politics.
The workshop is held in English.
