The First Seminar on Urban Planning

The Alex Med Center at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina (BA) is hosting the first seminar on Urban Planning, 20 December 2004. The seminar will cover discussions and exchange of ideas between specialists and people working in this domain, in order to come up with feasible plans to be implemented by the national committee responsible for urban planning.
Highlighted issues include: ‘Policy making: issues and strategies’, ’Management of cities: organizational structure and function’, ‘Conservation of cities’ and ‘Landscaping’, as well as ‘Legal issues: laws, standards and guidelines’ and ‘Art in the City’.
