Ibn Arabi and the Sufi Concept of Love: A lecture at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina

Alexandria, 4 January 2005—The Manuscripts Center at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina (BA) is organizing a lecture entitled Ibn Arabi and the Sufi Concept of Love, on 6 January 2005, delivered by Dr. Youssef Ziedan, Director of the Manuscripts Center.
The lecture will be about the life and works of Mohie Din Ibn Arabi, one of the most eminent figures in the world of Sufism, who passed away in 638 A.H. The Sufi concept of love will also be discussed, and how it transcends any theological differences.
The lecture will start at 3:00 pm at the BA Conference Center; it is open to the public.
