Honoring Dr. Ahmed Zayed at EDUGATE International University Fair

The International University Fair (EDUGATE), chaired by Dr. Ali Shams El-Din, honored Dr. Ahmed Zayed, Director of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, during a ceremony honoring the pioneers of education that was held on Wednesday at the Library.
Other honorees included Dr. Abdel Aziz Konsowa, President of Alexandria University; Dr. Essam Al-Kurdy, President of Alamein International University; Dr. Arabi Abu Zeid, Head of the Directorate of Education in Alexandria; and a host of education leaders in Alexandria, most notably the heads of educational departments and principals of major schools.
It is worth mentioning that this is the first time for the BA to host the International University Fair (EDUGATE) at its premises.
This 15th round of the fair witnesses the participation of nearly 50 public, non-for-profit, and private universities, and offers a unique opportunity for each university to present its most outstanding educational programs and exchange visions among other participating universities. It also allows visitors to learn about the approaches of each university in providing advanced study programs to attract students and keep pace with scientific development.
