The BA Sustainable Development Studies, Youth Capacity Building, and African Relations Support Program organizes the African League of Young Masters’ twelfth annual graduation ceremony on Thursday, 17 October 2024, at 12:00 pm, in the BACC Great Hall.
The ceremony will be inaugurated by Dr. Ahmed Zayed, Director of the BA, where nearly three hundred African students will graduate from various Egyptian universities. These students represent Sudan, South Sudan, Uganda, Malawi, Comoros, Djibouti, and Egypt. The event will also witness the attendance of representatives of ministries, presidents of different Egyptian universities, ambassadors, and public figures.
The African League of Young Masters Program, which is geared towards African students, aims to strengthen Egyptian-African relations and open channels of communication between African students and their Egyptian colleagues by holding weekly meetings at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina. The Library is harnessing all its resources to support and build the capacities of young people, in order to highlight Egypt's leading role in the African continent, exchange knowledge and scientific expertise and consolidate future relations among these youth.
