Conclusion of the “Coptic Art and Archaeology” Workshop

The BA Center for Coptic Studies concluded a four-day workshop entitled "An Introduction to Coptic Art and Archaeology", which was held at the Child Museum, from 14 to 17 October 2024.
The workshop was delivered by Prof. Gertrud Van Loon, Professor of Coptic Art and Archaeology at Leuven University, Belgium, and Prof. Maher Eissa, Professor of Coptology at the Faculty of Archaeology, Fayoum Unversity.
It discussed various topics including iconography, murals, ceramics, and woodwork.
