The Verses in the Manuscript Mural: A lecture at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina

Alexandria, 24 January 2005–The Manuscript Center at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina (BA), is organizing a lecture entitled The Verses in the Manuscript Mural by Dr. Youssef Ziedan, Director of the Manuscript Center, on 27 January 2005.
The lecture sheds light on the four verses written on the 12-meter manuscript, which was on display in the Frankfurt Book Fair. The mural’s design reflects the Arabic culture and the four verses mirror this culture’s long history. The lecture focuses on the verses’ significance.
The Manuscript Center welcomes all those interested to attend the lecture which begins at 3:00 pm in the BA Conference Center.
