Posted on

The BA Sustainable Development Studies, Youth Capacity Building, and African Relations Support Program, in collaboration with Alamein International University, is organizing the SciComm Nexus Forum on Wednesday, 28 January 2026, at 9:00 am, in the Great Hall of the BA Conference Center.

The forum seeks to redefine the roles of scientists, researchers, and scientific content creators as influential actors in shaping public awareness, capable of transforming complex knowledge into understandable and applicable meaning. The event also takes on a practical dimension by equipping participants with practical skills in scientific communication.

The forum will culminate in the closing ceremony of the SciComm Nexus Competition at Alamein International University, where students will present real-life examples of how science can be relatable, human, and impactful when presented in an effective and accurate manner.

This forum comes as part of the close cooperation between the BA and the Alamein International University with the aim of promoting scientific research, spreading culture among young people, and enriching the educational life of students by opening new horizons of knowledge that contribute to building a generation of creative researchers capable of keeping pace with global developments.
