“The Giza Pyramids in Classical Sources” Lecture

Within the cultural activities of the Alexandria Project, the BA holds on Wednesday, 9 October 2013, a lecture entitled “The Giza Pyramids in Classical Sources” by Dr. Mohamed Abd El-Ghani, Professor of Greek and Roman History and Civilization, Faculty of Arts, Alexandria University.
The Lecture screens references to the Giza Pyramids in classical sources, dating back to the writings of Herodotus in the fifth century B.C.
The lecture starts at 12:00 noon at the BA Main Library Auditorium, and is open for public.
