Panorama of Contemporary Egyptian Ceramic Exhibition

Alexandria, 1 March 2005—The Bibliotheca Alexandrina Arts Center is organizing the Panorama of Contemporary Egyptian Ceramic Exhibition, on 10 March 2005, within a series of exhibitions under the theme of Panorama of Contemporary Egyptian Art in the Twentieth Century.
The exhibition includes a collection of over 300 ceramic works of art, reflecting the different approaches, and the creative diversity of several generations of artists. It represents an important documentation tool for historians, researchers and art-lovers.
The series of exhibitions, organized by the Arts Center within the past two years, under the theme of Panorama of Contemporary Egyptian Art in the Twentieth Century, displayed different art works, including sculpture, photography, ceramics and graphics, with over 100 pieces representing a 100 years of the Egyptian art.
