The Bibliotheca Alexandrina back from the London Book Fair

Alexandria, 29 March 2005—The Bibliotheca Alexandrina (BA) returned from participating at the London Book Fair, 13-15 March 2005. During the Fair, the Library of Alexandria, in association with the UK Friends of the Alexandria Library, introduced its cultural achievements to the Fair’s visitors. Moreover, the cultural role of BA as one of the major contributors and organizers in the conservation of Egypt’s natural and cultural heritage was clearly manifested.
BA was a point of attraction to a great number of visitors, exhibitors and publishers, who were enthused by BA’s presence at the Fair, and expressed their utter readiness to collaborate with the Library of Alexandria.
The London Book Fair is one of the largest and most important events in the publishing business worldwide.
