Seminar: The universal portrayal of Alexandria in novels

Alexandria, 18 April 2005—The Arab Reform Forum at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina (BA) is organizing a seminar on the significance of the city of Alexandria in novels worldwide, on 23 April 2005.
In his seminar, the Egyptian novelist, Edward El-Kharat, will shed light on the portrayal of Alexandria in novels universally, and how it inspired international novelists, poets and writers with its history and civilization.
The seminar will be held at the BA Conference Center, East Hall at 7:00 pm.
