Workshop on the Development and Empowerment of Civil Society Organizations and Citizens

Alexandria, 28 April 2005—The Dialogue Forum at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina is organizing a workshop on the development and empowerment of civil society organizations and citizens in order to improve the utilization of social capital, on 30 April 2005.
The workshop discusses ways to achieve the development goals of the Millennium Declaration, touching on the effect of poverty, solidarity and education on the attaining of economic and social security of citizens. In addition, it will explore women"s health and empowerment within the framework of human rights, and how to promote participation of different society members in economic, political, and cultural reform.
The workshop will take place at the Third Floating Room, Main Library, at 9:00 am.
