Alexandria, 3 July 2005—Children and youth are invited to join the exciting summer program at the Exploratorium of the Planetarium Science Center at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina (BA).
The program’s various workshops aim to encourage teamwork among the children where they learn that a great deal can be accomplished via cooperation.
The workshops organized for the children and youth will shed light on astronomy, chemistry, electricity and the human body. Young participants will discover more about the solar system, telescopes, chemical reactions, magnetic fields, electric switches and the different organs and body systems.
Other workshops held include a workshop on mechanics where mechanical gears and their different uses are explored, and a workshop on optics that involves the study of simple light ray concepts using mirrors and magnifying glasses.
Please visit the Planetarium Science Center for the summer program’s details.
