Exploring “100 Days—100 Imachinations”

Alexandria, 13 October 2005—Tim Otto Roth, the German artist, is giving a lecture entitled “Cross media—cross borders” at the Goethe Institute in Alexandria, 16 October 2005. In his lecture, Tim Roth will shed light on his projection at the BA, “100 Days—100 Imachinations”, presenting the project in his own words. A discussion of the project with the audience will take place at the end of the lecture. The lecture is organized by the Bibliotheca Alexandrina (BA) in collaboration with the Goethe Institute.
“100 Days—100 Imachinations” is considered the first big media art project to take place in public space in Egypt. The 100-day projection series is projected live from the Internet on the BA Conference Center’s triangular wall facing the Corniche and is changed daily, enabling the public to watch the show from there.
