Tools and preparation of paintings

Alexandria, 25 December 2005— The Bibliotheca Alexandrina is organizing a lecture on the tools and preparation of paintings. The lecture will be given by the artist Mohamed El Maghraby, board member of the Alexandria Arabic Calligraphy School.
In his lecture, El Maghraby will shed light on the preparation of paintings and the tools used in this process, such as pencils, brushes, and canvas.
The lecture will bring together specialists in Arabic calligraphy, the press, journalists, as well as senior managers at the BA.
The lecture is taking place at 12:00 pm at the BA Auditorium.
