Alexandria, 15 January 2006—The BA is organizing the BioVisionAlexandria 2006 from 26 to 29 April, 2006 in Alexandria. The conference will be a continuation of the tradition that started with the BioVision 1999 in Lyon.
Dr. Serageldin, Director of the Library of Alexandria, stated that the goal of the conference will be to promote the active exchange of biotechnological information, innovation, and new ideas and to encourage constructive dialogue between key players in the development of life sciences in order to better meet the challenges facing the 21st century.
This venue will commence with a “Nobel Day" dedicated to Nobel laureates and will honor the scientists whose vision and perseverance in the quest for scientific innovation changed lives and transformed our world.
Along with this important event, the Bibliotheca Alexandrina is organizing a fair "BioFair @BioVisionAlexandria" that offers a unique opportunity for the top management of biotechnology companies to meet with key research and business development executives from the medical, pharmaceutical, agricultural, environmental, engineering and nutritional fields. It will bring together publishers, institutions, organizations and companies involved in life sciences and related topics.
