A Donation to the Bibliotheca Alexandrina (BA) from the Institute for the History of Arabic Science

Alexandria, 18 January 2006—The BA received a donation from the Institute of the History of Arabic Science, University of Aleppo, Syria. The donation is a distinguished collection of books, including: Al-Khayam Articles in Algebra, Agricultural Creativity in the Early Islamic World: Crops and Agricultural Techniques from 700 to 1100 AD, Arabs and Muslims Astronomical Heritage and Its Impact on the Modern Astronomy, History of Arabs Before Islam: Political and Cultural, and a collection of papers on the Fourth International Seminar on the History of Arabic Science.
