The Bibliotheca Alexandrina Signs a Cooperation Agreement with the French Ministry of Culture

The celebration held on the occasion of signing the agreement will be attended by Ambassador Taher Khalifa, Head of the BA External Affairs Sector, Dr. Sohair Wastawy, Head of the BA Library Sector, M. Bernard Salome, Advisor to the BA Director for the French Relations, and Dr. Yehia Halim Zaki, Head of the BA Academic and Cultural Relations Sector. Benoît Yvert, Director of Books and Reading, Ministry of Culture, Gérard Grunberg, Director of Bibliothèque publique d’information , and Daniel Legoffe, Director of Bibliothèque de Limoges will represent the French side in the celebration.
Ambassador Taher Khalifa stated that the agreement will cover several educational and cultural aspects including distant learning, training, French collections, conferences and seminars, and ENSSIB program.
