Events

The lecture revolves around the transformation of the Hellenic civilization, after merging with different Eastern civilizations, into the Hellenistic civilization. The impact of the Egyptian environment on Greek poetry will also be discussed.

The lecture will be delivered by Ophelia Fayez, Professor of Alexandrian and Comparative Literature at the Greek and Latin Studies Department, University of Alexandria.
