The lecture will cover the second intermediate period which is considered to be the most mysterious period of ancient times. The information available on this period is very vague, so it is unclear when this period began or ended. It is also very difficult to determine the number of kings who ruled during that time as the country was raided by the Hyksos, the first foreign raid in Egyptian history.
