Hellenistic Masters: (Eighth Cycle - First Semester) - Hellenistic Architecture and the Topography of Alexandria

This course aims to explore the various forms of architectural traditions as an exposure to the Hellenistic mentality. The course will shed light on innovative trends in styles, methods, and materials in different parts of the Hellenistic world and study what is distinctive about each Hellenistic arts center. At the end of the course the students will have developed their ability to date buildings according to the styles, the technique, and the location used.
