The film presents the conflicts that King Farouk had to face by narrating the most significant political and historical events that took place in Egypt during his reign.

Muhammed Ali

Muhammed Ali was born in 1769 in Kavala. During his reign in Egypt, he managed to overcome the Wahhabis and was consequently allowed by the Ottoman Sultan to build a charitable educational institution in his hometown as a reward for his success. The film portrays Muhammed Ali’s role in the educational development that took place in Kavala.
