In light of the endangerment of cultural heritage in the Arab world, the Egyptian Heritage Rescue Foundation was established to train heritage rescue teams and formulate cultural heritage risk management plans. The Foundation’s work has also extended to include training teams of specialists from the Ministry of Antiquities in excavation sites and museums, as well as training teams from other Arab countries.
