This lecture is organized by the BA Antiquities Museum and will be delivered by Dr. Nadia Khedr, Museum Superintendent of Alexandria and Rashid. The lecture will revolve around the role of museums as one of the most influential institutions in the dissemination of culture and archaeological awareness, thus majorly transforming the role of museums from merely being a storage space for antiquities into becoming an archaeological and cultural center spreading archaeological awareness among individuals from all walks of life. Dr. Nadia Khader will also specifically discuss the importance of the Alexandria and Rashid museums, their antiquities and activities, in addition to their current state and their future development plans.
