This event is result of cooperation with ASIFA Egypt, the regional chapter of l’Association Internationale du Film d’Animation (ASIFA), on the occasion of its 50th anniversary, and the International Animation Day, which marks Emile Reynaud’s first public performance of animation Theatre Optique at the Grevin Museum in Paris on 28 October 1892.
