The BA Detects the Relationship between Crime and Terrorism

The Center for Strategic Studies at the BA has released the 48th issue of Marased series, entitled “Criminal Pasts, Terrorist Futures: European Jihadists and the New Crime-Terror Nexus.” It is originally published by the International Centre for the Study of Radicalisation and Political Violence at King’s College, London, and edited by Peter Neumann, Rajan Basra and Claudia Brunner. This issue is translated into Arabic by Mohammed Al-Araby.
This report sheds light on the new phenomena that link crime with terrorism through a study of a number of European terrorists with criminal records, while relying on official statistics to illustrate these phenomena.
