The Ecosystem Services Workshop briefs children on the meaning of biodiversity and its significance in our lives, as well as its three main levels; ecosystems, species and genetic diversity. After going through the wide concept, the workshop focuses on different ecosystems all around the world, with emphasis on Egypt. The workshop activities allow children to explore animals, plants, and environmental resources found in a number of ecosystems. They also show the various interrelationships between these elements and how man influences such environmental resources.
