Fun with Science

"Fun with science" workshops evolves around a series of fables containing messages that aim to give children a scientific base, and enabling them to apply scientific knowledge as a creative tool. Currently available workshops include: Walking on Water, Orange Soap, and the Sugar Tree. Through these fables children become aware of their value in society and that they can play an important role in developing innovative solutions to the challenges of the modern world starting with the local community level.
A major theme of "fun with science" workshops is the introduction of "systems thinking". Children quickly learn that everything in the world is interconnected and that thinking systematically influences choices and behavior. Through these fables children become aware of their value in society and that they can play an important role in developing innovative solutions to the challenges of the modern world starting at the local community level.
