In order to
facilitate regular contact between the Codex Alimentarius Commission and the
member countries, the National Codex Contact Point have been established.
The appointment of the National Codex Contact Point is done by the
governments of those countries, which decided to establish such bodies on
their territory. The transcript provides the basic data for the nominated
Codex Contact Point, and after that the work of this body starts on a
regular basis.
