As a matter of fact, NO body can expect when a sever earthquakes will shake the capital or other large cities in your/my country. So, all preventive activities must be designed and pre-tested before the disaster. In this way, the role of Epidemiologic studies must be emphasized for providing necessary information.

As, my professor Dr. Nadim always says: "This is the duty of Epidemiologists to introduce their abilities and applications of Epidemiology to authorities, not waiting for them to call". I believe him. Yes, it may never happen or will be too late!!

Do not wait my dear friends, just pick up the phone now and call every body who is in charge of disaster management in your country. Tell him/her, you are able to guarantee his/her popularity after the earthquake. Just a moment, if you are reading my notes at midnight, only wait for few hours!! It would be better.
