The Olympic
Games are associated with the development of a country, it will give Greece
a chance to show that its wealth is not only its past, but that it has a
creative, modern profile as well.
The 2004 Olympic Games will leave significant works which
will improve the quality of life of the capital's inhabitants, such as: the
new International Airport "Eleftherios Venizelos" at Spata, the Attica Road
from Elefsina to Spata, the Imitos Ring Road, the extensions of the Metro,
the Suburban Railway, the tram at the coastal road, and the Olympic Ring
Road.
