The mission of the
15,500 faculty of the supercourse is to connect people involved in
prevention worldwide and provide better materials for teaching.6,7 Thus not
only would the content be available, but also a global expertise of
thousands would be willing to help. A model of a school of public health in
Pakistan has already been developed which can be used as a template for
other nations.8 Currently there are more than 500 members from Pakistan and
around 180 members from India contributing more than 100 lectures for the
supercourse network.5 Moreover, the All India Institute of Hygiene and
Public Health in Calcutta can evolve into a school of Public health training
in India. Telepreventive medicine could link medical schools in South Asia,
with improved prevention lectures and networking of those engaged
prevention. |
