Most of the data on malaria, LBW and anemia presented here are facility-based (clinics or hospitals), therefore it is unclear whether the probability of the infections’ outcomes at facilities would be higher than within communities. Because those who attend these facilities might be more "privileged", the prevalence of malaria and LBW may not be representative of the community as a whole.
