A good way to obtain perinatal data on a
population is using the Basic Perinatal History or
constructing someone like this with epidemiologic
programs, e.g. Epi-Info. The use of that
epidemiologic instrument in the Maternal and
Neonatal Health Services has been used in many
countries.
