Thus he became the
forerunner of epidemiology in addition to the Father of Biostatistics, the
science which helped and contributed to the growth as a twin brother to
epidemiology. His counts and measurements proved to be more useful than mere
observations to understand about the diseases prevalent then and thus he
paved for epidemiological growth with objective measurements of health
