We
identified migrant studies from 5 countries, Germany (n = 1), Sweden (n =
1), The Netherlands (n = 3), and the United Kingdom (n = 18). One study was
excluded from the analysis because of overlapping by time and place. Overall migrant groups displayed elevated prevalance of schizophrenia compared to their native-born populations. The migrant to native-born rate ratio median (10% to 90% quantiles) was 4.6 (1.0 to 12.8). Differences were statistically significant. |
