This graph shows relationship between blood pressure and
insulin resistance. You see that any relationship that exists between insulin resistance
and blood pressure seems to be explained by the structural and functional abnormalities of
capillaries. Low capillary density perhaps consequent upon defects in angiogenesis as well
as low responsiveness to acetyl choline vasodilatation are associated with both
hypertension and insulin resistance. |
