The previous slides suggest that, given the same size at birth and covariate patterns, a longer gestational duration in the range shown is better for both twins and singletons. Twins born after 38 weeks have higher neonatal mortality not because a longer GA was hazardous to them, but because a longer GA is more advantageous to singletons.
