In such difficult question as geomedicine it is unpossible to envelop all the it sides together. So we divided our study into several fragments which areinteracting to each other.

CVD stand in one row with such human problems as cancer, mental diseases, violence and lead to the deaths of 300 thousand Brasilian people annually. The prevention of CVD is very expensive. About 15 millions of Brasilian have hypertension. CVD have become the reason of 15% of deaths among people from 15 to 44 years.

One of the first attempts to correlate the habitat with CVD belongs to Kobayashi (1957). His work (lead to the beginning of the famous “water story” ) shows the correlation between the acidity of water in the rives of Japan and stroke.
