The idea that
health is a human right was
articulated in the United Nation’s Universal Declaration of
Human Rights, created over 50 years ago at the inception of the
organization. This idea is of pivotal importance in the
development of the science of global health. Medical, public
health, and nursing students need to be aware of the impact they
can make on the global health in the future.
